PeoplesBank St. James
Earning a silver rating this is the first LEED Certified branch bank in the greater Springfield area. Complimenting the attractive design is: Reduction in water consumption by using low flow plumbing fixtures, drought tolerant landscape plants and drip irrigation. Much of the building materials were either reclaimed or obtained regionally.
PeoplesBank Amherst
Built on the site of old housing complex this 3,000 square foot branch bank was designed to meet the needs of modern branch bank but fit in with the older architecture downtown Amherst. Some of the more noticeable features are the old world style clock in lieu of the more modern LED traditionally used, large skylight for natural lighting. Limestone sills and window arches add a traditional New England feel.
Carwash
More than a simple wash and wax. An outdated turn of the century service station was raised for a new modern touch – less car wash. A common problem associated with car washes in New England deterioration of the interior walls brought on by freeze thaw activity. Canyon Ranch
Functionality and relaxed atmosphere were the prerequisites for this Resort Spa nestled, in the Berkshires. Our dedicated craftsmen worked day and night fabricating and installing custom vanities, towel drops, lockers and personnel shower rooms. Custom mosaic pebble wall murals and hand cast ceramic tile along with textured glass panels accent the space. Soft lighting with shaded pendants creates a warm glow completing the relaxed atmosphere.
Amherst Fitness
Completed in less than four months, this design-build project involved converting an existing grocery store into a state of the art wellness center complete with male and female locker rooms, aerobic, dance and free weights studios. Substantial modifications to the HVAC, sprinkler and electrical systems were required as well.
329 Conway Street
A design-build project involving the conversion of an existing 81,000 square foot retirement facility to a multi use medical health center. Approximately 15,000 square feet of which was raised reducing the structure to 66,000 square feet. The entire interior finishes, mechanical and electrical systems in the remaining 3-story brick building were completely removed and redesigned to meet the individual specialty group’s requirements. The project also included new parking, lighting and landscaping.
Springfield Social Security Building
The 20,292 square foot Social Security Administration building is built at ground level with a two foot high above grade retaining wall berm around the perimeter of the building to meet homeland security requirements.
Pioneer Valley Performing Arts Charter School
Pioneer Valley Performing Arts Charter School in South Hadley Massachusetts schools middle school through high school aged students which accommodates over 400 students plus staff. The project was Marois Construction in house design build project. The existing building was a testing facility which over thirty ton of machinery and equipment was removed. Mount Holyoke College Boathouse
The Mount Holyoke College Boathouse is built on the banks of the Connecticut River in South Hadley Massachusetts to house the schools regatta team. The building features two long boat storage bays, with work area for rigging adjustments and a stretching area at the back of the building provides a place for the rowers to prepare for practice.
