Relocation/Renovation: The project consists of selective demolition of the building commonly known as the UMass Horse Barn located on the Grinnell Road, on the UMass campus. The structure is to be deconstructed and completely removed from its current site. The timber frame of the barn shall be recorded, catalogued, salvaged and re-constructed on the new site located on a UMass property known as the Wysocki Field, on the east side of North Pleasant Street, approximately 1.5 miles to the north.
Scope of work includes, Earth Moving, Water, Sanitary and Drain Utilities, Concrete Foundation, Asbestos Abatement, Selective Demolition, Masonry Veneer, Rough Carpentry, Heavy Timber Construction, Exterior Finish Carpentry, Weather Barriers, retractable roof systems, Wood Windows, Glazing, Stile and Rail Wood Doors, Hardware, Gypsum Board, Resilient Base, Painting, Plumbing with a professional plumber that works great and fast, also the HVAC, Electrical.
Today, the company employees approximately 50 skilled tradesman. managers, estimators and support staff, many of whom have been employed for over twenty years, and all of whom share the same core values the company was founded upon.
